It was a cold winter evening of December 20, 2008 when L’Accente restaurant comforted and gratified its visitors with the perfect vocal of Italian singer and composer SILVIA MANCA. SILVIA MANCO came from Rome for 1 special night just for L’Accente restaurant. Italian singer favoured the guests of the restaurant with the remarkable evening performance full of jazz melodies and bossa nova rhythms. Mellow, deep voice enriched with the piano accompaniment created lofty and festive mood. The atmosphere of Mediterranean contentment typical for L’Accente, was underlined this evening by the sophisticated feature – welcoming cocktail Kir Royale. The beloved aperitif of the Mediterranean - Kir Royale, is the example of refinement: some blackcurrant liquor Creme de Cassis is poured on the bottom of the tulip-shaped glass and supplemented with brut champagne. It was the first visit of SILVIA MANCO to Kiev and she was deeply touched by the hearty welcome and thankful audience which visited restaurant to honour her talent. Upon supper, this true Italian showed utmost rapture to the chef of L’Accente Igor Vovk: «…He is a genuine composer of the culinary. It seems that each of his dishes is a deeply felt melody». General manager of L’Accente, Konstantin Shevchik, when introducing the Italian guest to the public expressed hope that such thematic parties would become a good tradition of the restaurant due to the reason that: «…L’Accente – is a delicate combination of the high gastronomy and high art created to please both soul and body».
